The Brockweir Village Shop & Café is a thriving, community-owned business serving our village
and surrounding area. We are looking for a capable and committed Assistant Shop Manager to
support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the shop.
This is a hands-on role combining customer service, stock management and team support. You will
help oversee ordering, merchandising, cash handling, and the supervision of our valued volunteers

a well-established community enterprise.

• Initial 12-month appointment
A candidate with strong, relevant experience may be appointed above the minimum point of
the scale.
The role is offered for 12 months in the first instance. Subject to the financial position of the
business and performance in the role, we would expect to make the position permanent.
There may also be scope for the role to increase to full-time in the future if business needs
require.

• Is organised, numerate and comfortable handling responsibility
• Enjoys working with people and supporting volunteers
